Strive promotes educational programs developed by the Ruhi Institute for all age groups that contribute to the unification of humankind by fostering community-building processes which nurture an environment of intellectual and moral empowerment at both the individual and collective levels.
Strive's activities focus on nurturing the spiritual life and well-being of communities, fostering the education of children and junior youth, and empowering both young people and adults. These efforts help shape a pattern of community life marked by fellowship, joy, mutual support, and collaboration. At its heart is the vision of a life dedicated to service to humanity and the transformation of society from its very foundations.
At Strive, children, youth, and adults engage in their spiritual development through study, consultation, action, and reflection. Together, they explore spiritual concepts and put them into practice within their communities. As capacities for service grow, more complex forms of collective action become possible. In this way, the transformation of individuals and society advance hand in hand.

Strive offers programs inspired by the Bahá'í Faith, whose teachings inspire individuals and communities to work toward improving their own lives and contributing to the advancement of society. Central to these teachings is the oneness of humanity — the understanding that all people belong to one human family and share a responsibility to build a more just, unified, and compassionate world.
Emphasizing values such as service to others, the dignity and equality of every person, the harmony of science and religion, the importance of education, and the cultivation of spiritual qualities, the Institute's programs are open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs, and are facilitated by mentors from diverse religious, cultural, and national experiences.
