Strive Youth Education Center is a not-for-profit learning institute promoting educational programs for youth and families in Chelsea and surrounding communities which enable them to develop coherence in the material, intellectual, and moral aspects of life. Our programs are offered with the conviction that all members of the community are protagonists of personal and social transformation, who eagerly assume responsibility for their own learning and for service to the community.

Truly prosperous communities depend greatly on the contributions youth make. Youth represent a vast reservoir of energy and our programs help them realize their energies can be directed by a two-fold purpose: to take charge of their own intellectual and moral growth and to contribute to the transformation of society. Strive provides an environment that helps them to appreciate the connections among the various aspects of life – family, health, education, work and leisure – and to shape lives that are whole and integrated.
